League Standings

How is the Chase field set?

• • At the end of the Regular Season, the Top 16 drivers in points standings are awarded Chase seats

  • Ties are broken by number of Top 10s earned.  If this number is also a tie, number of Top 5s earned will be used to break the tie.  If there is still a tie, finishing order of our most recent race will be used to break the tie.

Scoring

• Stages are not in use.  Points are awarded by race finishing order.

• Each race, the race winner receives 46 points.  Second place receives 42 points.  Every following position receives one less point than the previous position.

• Each race, the racer with the fastest in-race lap receives 1 bonus point.

• Each race, the racer who leads the most laps receives 1 bonus point.

• Each race, all racers who lead a lap receive 1 bonus point.

• Race winners are awarded 3 points at the start of the Chase for each of their Regular Season wins.

• Racers will also receive bonus points, determined by their finishing position in the Regular Season Standings.  The Regular Season Champion receives 16 bonus points at the start of the Chase.  Every position after receives one less bonus point.  16th place would receive 1 bonus point.
